2018 Port Development Project

In 2018, Nauru approved the Sustainable & Climate Resilient Connectivity Project, a significant port development initiative to transform its largely inoperable Aiwo boat harbor into a modern , climate- resilient international Port. The Project, supported by the Asian Development Bank (ABD) & the Green Climate resilience, enhance maritime trade, & strengthen Nauru's overall economic performance, capacity building, port security implementation, & institutional reforms for the Port Authority of Nauru.
